I am currently collecting peoples personal true stories for a Story Telling Project here in Bloomington. Proceeds from this event will help support local radio station WFHB. If you have a strange, funny, adventurous, touching, or otherwise great story, and would like to tell this story live at a small story-telling event, please contact me. I believe the act of story-telling is not only a disappearing important folk art, but also is a way to bring communities together.

The Story-telling Evening will occur on June 13th at Rachaels Cafe.

Story submissions may be made no later then May 25th. Stories must be true, and can be anywhere from 1 minute to 16 minutes in length when told aloud. If you have a great story, but feel uncomfortable telling it live, please still share it! A volunteer may be able to read your story during the event for you.

Please take some time to think of your best story and consider telling it. Also, please tell others who you think might be interested in sharing their stories at this event.
